$20.00

  2022 Grayson Books Chapbook Contest

Prize: $500, publication of chapbook and 50 copies
  Deadline: January 31, 2024
  Reading fee: $20

Submit: 16-36 pages of poetry. Do not place identifying information on your chapbook manuscript. Put it in the submission form instead.

Include a Contents page. A page of acknowledgments of previously published poems may be included; this is not required.

We do not accept work that was created—entirely or partially—with AI software.

Simultaneous submissions are permissible if we are notified immediately upon acceptance elsewhere. Multiple submissions are fine, as long as each is accompanied by a reading fee.

This year's judge, B. Fulton Jennes, is an award-winning poet whose work has appeared widely in literary journals and anthologies. Her family-history-in-verse Blinded Birds won the 2022 International Book Award for a Poetry Chapbooks.
